Dog Grooming

Proper grooming is very important to both your dog and you. Over thousands of years, mankind has bred dogs of all sizes, builds and specializations. This has resulted in dogs that are very different from the prehistoric wolf line, which they originated from. Unlike the wild wolf with its heavy coarse hair, modern dog fur is finer, delicate and more brittle. In fact, it is closer to human hair than to the ancient wolf. 

Just like human hair, if it is not washed and trimmed properly, it will become hard, greasy, knotted and possibly embedded with debris or pests such as lice or fleas. Clean knot free hair provides better insulation and protection than unkempt hair, which in turn makes your dog happier and healthier.
